The Affordable Care Act, the new health law President Obama signed this year, created a new program – the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan. This plan provides health coverage to you if you have been denied health insurance by private insurance companies because of a pre-existing condition. There are certain eligibility requirements, but they are not related to your income level.
